Shahi Announces JV With Little King Global, To Setup Performance Fabric Processing Facility In Shimoga
The factory shall be operational by the end of 2024 and have initial production capacity of 500 tons per month which later increase to 1000 tons per month. It will be one of the largest performance fabric production facility in the country.

Shahi Exports, India’s largest
apparel manufacturer and exporter, announced a joint venture with Little King
Global, one of Taiwan’s premier synthetic sportswear fabric manufacturers. The JV
is in line with Shahi’s growth roadmap and marks the birth of a
state-of-the-art processing unit for synthetic performance fabrics in Shimoga,
Karnataka. The production facility shall be fully operational by the end of 2024
and have initial production capacity of 500 tons per month. The production capacity
is slated to double in the future, reaching 1000 tons per month making it one
of the largest performance fabric producer in the country. The venture will
also boost employment in Shimoga, making Shahi among the largest employers in
this region.
